LILOU AND LINEN

The garden in bloom, Jeffrey feeding the birds.
Still weaving the scarf for Lilou,
it contains quite a lot of linen, I hope I can get it soft enough,
anyone tips for making the linen feel softer?
Washing helps, but maybe there are some other methods...

  1. Put it in the freezer then press with a hot iron while frozen. Its the strangest thing to do!

    1. Thanks Dianne! I steamed mine with the iron, because of lack of time, but it worked also! Next time I will try your tip!

  2. I soak mine in eucalyptus wool wash. If it's crunchy when it dries I wrap it up up in a towel and roll it back and forwards for a bit but I find soaking is the key.

    1. Thanks for your help Kim! The scarf was ready just in time, so I did not have time to wash/soak it, so I steamed it with the iron, and this helped also... The scarf was for this girl's First Communion, so this time I really had to respect the deadline... :-)
