RECYCLED AND RECYCABLE

I made these 4 placemats also for De Invasie.
They are made of linen that was unsuitable for weaving in the industry,
newspaper and cotton tape.
They contain only cellulose,
so after usage,
you just throw them on your compostheap
and after a while they will dissapear. :-)

I wanted to make something to throw away,
simple and pure,
a product that does not affect nature.
But they would look great hanging on a wall too! :-)

DE INVASIE IN PICTURES

These are not the best pictures,
but it gives a hint of what my presentation looked like.
It was a really nice day with lots of visitors,
interesting to see so many people
touching and looking at the scarves.
Here you can see the rest of De Invasie in pictures!

To all who came by: thanks! x

New in picture 2: cushions!
Made with scarvepieces and the softes wool fabric.
More to come.

Now I'm off to enjoy the sun...

INVASIE * SCARF 7 *

And last but not least,
for someone who loves yellow
and pied-de-poulle,
scarf 7!
Lots of cotton and a bit wool.
Who dares? :-)

The last scarf for De Invasie!
Hope to see you all tomorrow in Kortrijk!

INVASIE * SCARF 6 *

This scarf is the orange
and darker version
of this one.
Warm but light.

Also for sale at De Invasie on sunday!
Only one scarf left to show!

INVASIE * SCARF 5 *

Blocks and stripes!
Made on the same warp as number one
and very soft :-)

Sunday is getting closer.
But really looking forward to
showing these scarves.
I had to keep them secret for such a long time :-)

INVASIE * SCARF 4 *

Anyone with a good memory
can see this is the big brother (or sister)
of this one.
But made with more red and orange.
A personal favorite...

INVASIE * SCARF 3 *

Number three!
Quite a girly one,
to my opinion.
This technique is called summer-winter,
but I think she's somewhere in between :-)
